Instalation Specification for JMS
Cricket Match Pitch
The following applies to a 2 Bay Practise Facility
Define the area to be used - 30m x 8m.
Determine finished level and excavate site to a consistent depth, 100mm below proposed final level
ECB Recommended gradients are between 1:80 - 1:300 down the lengh of the wicket and 1:50 - 1:150 across the wicket.
Define the location of the batting area.
Excavate this area to a consistent depth 50mm below rest of site.
Consolidate the base of the excavation with a roller or 'wacka plate' to prevent settlement at a later date.
Apply weed killer and worm killer, as per manufacturer instructions.
Supply and fix pressure treated timber edging around perimeter and to areas required for stretching and securing carpets.
Import, level and consolidate 20mm-dust non frost susceptable angular stone to final level to all areas apart from the batting ends.
Determine type of stone to be used for base of batting ends. Import, level and consolidate chosen stone to 50mm from proposed final level.
Locate position of framework ground sockets and install.
Supply and lay geotextile over batting end base stone.
Import, Level and consolidate to proposed final level, MCD hard porous material.
Level and grade all ares to meet ECB requirements.
Install stump boxes, if required.
Supply and lay chosen shockpads to both bowling and batting areas. Tension and secure.
Supply and lay chosen carpet surface, Tension and secure.
Supply and erect framework.
Supply and fit netting.
Mark out, as per laws of Game.
